In 2014, the Medicare population was estimated to be 55.5 million individuals. By 2030, this population is expected to exceed 69 million; in 2050, the population is estimated to grow by almost 50% to 82 million individuals. Indianapolis – New members of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan and Hoosier Care Connect plans in Indiana will soon be able to take a health survey at a Pursuant Health kiosk at any Wal-Mart store in the state, earn a $10 reward and share information that could help them enroll in important health management programs to improve their health.

The Pursuant Health team has been working hard to improve our kiosk to give our users the best experience possible. We’re excited to share some positive changes to our kiosk that make checking in with your health faster, easier and more enjoyable.

You can’t reverse the clocks to change the date on your driver’s license, but what if we told you that you can make yourself physically younger by practicing good health habits? If you eat well, exercise regularly, prioritize sleep and stress less, you may have the health of someone much younger. This is what we call a Health Age.

In the past few months, our company has undergone a vast amount of changes. We changed our name, partnered with the Cleveland Clinic, expanded our focus to employee wellness and gave our user interface a major overhaul. With all of these transitions taking place, we couldn’t think of a better time to start a blog to document the exciting things coming up for Pursuant Health.
