The Atlanta Business Chronicle recently announced Pursuant Health as one of its first-ever InnoVenture Award winners. Pursuant was selected as the winner in the Growth Stage Healthcare category. The Atlanta Business Chronicle will recognize the honorees and celebrate the Atlanta startup community on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the King Plow Event Gallery.
The inaugural Innoventure Awards recognize companies in metro Atlanta that have drawn the most attention from the investor community for their innovative products or services at various funding stages.
“Pursuant Health is in excellent company among a phenomenal roster of Atlanta’s most innovative and investable young companies including CallRail, Cardlytics, Rubicon Global Holdings, GreenSky and more,” said Pursuant Health CFO Joe Stephens. “We are proud of our work and would like to thank the Atlanta Business Chronicle for this recognition.”
Earlier this year, Pursuant Health was also named one of the Technology Association of Georgia’s Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies.
Pursuant Health screens more than 30 million Americans every year through its network of more than 3,600 self-service kiosks. In late 2017, we introduced the integration of the first retinal screening imagers into its kiosks. The goal: prevent 95 percent of avoidable vision loss cases with early detection. Because diabetic retinopathy impacts up to 85% of individuals with diabetes, the ability to increase the total number of screenings can significantly reduce instances of preventable blindness and overall healthcare costs simultaneously.
